Fun Times at The Hedrick House

This past Saturday Tegan and I drove up to Colorado Springs to spend the day with Shannon, Kendal and Kayden. We were so excited to go and look forward to it all week. Kendal is getting so BIG and loves to be a ham for the camera.

Kayden saying CHEESE!

Kendal smiling pretty for the camera again.

Tegan and Kayden were VERY determined to get the beer fridge open. Hopefully they get over that soon...or we may have problems.

Tegan thought the fake popsicle was yummy.

We were hanging out in the front room and all of the sudden Tegan decided to tackle Kendal.

Then Kendal got Tegan!

Kayden decided to join in the fun. They were so hilarious!!

Time to color!

When we first got to Shannon's House Kendal told me she had a boyfriend....when I asked her who her boyfriend was she pointed to Tegan! Tegan and Kendal gave each other hugs and kisses before we left!

Of course....we had to get some group pictures. Which was not the easiest task considering the kids are one, two and three!

The kids were looking at us like we were crazy. They would not look at us so we were having to be pretty obnoxious!

Finally, we got them to look at us by telling them to put their hands on their heads.

Thanks for having us over to play. We can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Could not resist.....

We have quickly learned that we must keep a onies shirt on Tegan at all times. If not this is what happens.....
Building things with Mega Blocks is a very popular activity in our house right now! Tegan takes it very seriously if you can not tell.

Day at the Park

This past Tuesday the weather was beutiful so we decided to take a walk over to the park. Tegan was very excited to walk to the park like a big boy. He got a little tierd on the walk over.
He quickly got in a better mood once he got to walk Tessa all by himself.

He loves to stand at the top of the slides and play peek a boo. Usually he loves going down the slide but has been hesitant ever since his experience on the water slide. I am sure he will get over his hesitation soon.

Date Night

On Sunday night Stacy and I had a belated Valentine's date. We went to dinner at a really nice restaurant called Elway's and then I surprised Stacy with tickets to a show at the Buell Theater. The show we went to was called Cirque Dreams - Jungle Fantasy. I had never heard of it but thought it looked pretty good.

The show was better than we could have imagined and
we were very impressed.
Here are the links to check it out.

Grandma Marlene was nice enough to come over and watch Tegan while we went out. He was very excited to play with Grandma and his new spinning toy she brought him!

Swim Time

Last weekend Stacy and I took Tegan to the Apex Center. He seems to be getting a little braver each time we go.

Last time we went swimming there he did not want to get to far away from us and this time he would venture out on his own.

Tegan has always loved any type of slides. So when he saw a slide on the water play ground he decided to go down it all by himself. I tried to presaude him to not go down it because even though it was small the water seemed to make it really fast. Unfortunately he came out at the bottom crying. Luckily Stacy was there to catch him.

In deep thought ...trying to decide if he is done swimming.

Hopefully Tegan will continue to love the Apex Center because he will be starting swimming lessons in April!

Our Little Monkey

Tegan has always enjoyed climbing on top of anything! Stacy and I were watching American Gladiators in the basement the other day and when we looked behind us this is what we found!

Tegan was having a blast "throwing" the pool balls accross the table.

SuperBowl Party

On Sunday we some friends and family come over for the Superbowl. Tegan had tons of fun and of course did not get any attention at all!

The grandmas got a hold of him more than once and tourtured him with lots of kisses.

Little Logan also came to play.

Jewels does such a good job with all of the babies. It will not be long until she will be able to babysit all by herself.

Tegan enjoying some peanut butter chocolate bars.

Richie and Tegan Time

Our neighbors Matt and Juliette just welcomed their little boy Richie into the world on January 3rd. Tegan and I were lucky enough to get watch Richie while his Mommy and Daddy went out for their 4 year anniversary dinner.

Tegan was a little shy while Matt and Juliette were here but as soon as they left he was attached to Richie's side.

Tegan loved giving baby Richie kisses.

It will be fun to watch Richie and Tegan grow up together!
