26 week update

So here is my 26 week picture. 

This is only from a week ago and my stomach is already bigger this week! The babies are growing perfectly and at our 26 week appointment they both weighed 1 pound 14 ounces! The doctor is really happy that they both keep measuring the same especially since they are sharing a placenta! The doctor told me to expect the babies to go through a significant weight gain from now until 33 weeks! Obviously, this pregnancy has been much different than my first but I am still not getting used to growing out of my maternity clothes so quickly!

Happy Belated 4th of July

So obviously I am really behind on post. I have no excuses! 

This year we went to my parents house again for 4th of July.

 Stacy, Jeff and Jewels made a trip to Wyoming the morning of the 4th so we had a really good firework show!

Tegan had a blast this year.

Our San Diego Vacation

When we found out we were expecting twins we decided that we really wanted to 

take Tegan on a vacation before our family went from 3 to 5. 

We planned a trip to San Diego and I am so happy we made the decision to go on this trip. The hotel we stayed at had two pet sea lions that we could watch eat their meals everyday.

The first night we went out to dinner and Tegan had a blast dancing 

with all of the servers at the restaurant.

After dinner we enjoyed some yummy ice cream!

I loved our hotel room and could not have asked for a better set up.

 We had a awesome patio right on the sand and water!

My best friend from high school, Kendra and her husband Eric live in San Diego. So we were able to get together with them several nights for dinner and to hang out.

Eric absolutely loves playing with Tegan!

Breakfast with Shamu

Of course we had to go to Sea World during our trip to San Diego.

The highlight of our time at Sea World was Breakfast with Shamu. 

We had the best time getting to meet all of the whales up close.

Tegan was super excited.

It was very neat to get the opportunity to see all of the whales that close.

We had spent the last couple of months talking about Shamu so Tegan was very excited.

Stacy and Tegan were excited to get wet so we sat in the "soak" zone.

Unfortunately we did not get wet and Tegan was really sad. 

So Stacy and he moved down to the first row but it was too late to get wet.

We were SOAKED by the end of the show.
