Matthew's 9th Birthday Party

On Sunday we went to Matthew's 9th Birthday party at Colorado Journey to play putt putt. Surprisingly Tegan did very well playing putt putt and had lots of fun.

Tegan always wants to do what the big kids are doing. He had lots of fun playing Light Sabers with Matthew and Stacy.

Trip to Kentucky

On Tuesday the 22nd my Grandfather Rose passed away. At the last minute I made the decision that Tegan and I were going to fly to Kentucky to go to the funeral. So on Thursday the 24th I booked a flight to Kentucky at 10:30 am and we flew out at 2 pm. This was a trip of many firsts for Tegan. It was his first plane ride and the first time he meet his Great Grandma Rose, Cousin Lexi and two of his Great Aunts. Tegan did awesome on the flights and the entire trip.

Tegan and Lexi were inseparable the entire trip. They played so good together.

Elmo Live: When Elmo Grows Up.

On Sunday we went to Elmo Live: When Elmo Grows Up. I ordered the tickets almost 3 months ago and had really been looking forward to taking Tegan to the show. Tegan was not feeling good but he perked up as soon as the show started!

Tegan and Mommy.

Tegan had a blast at the show. He jumped up and down and clapped his hands the entire show.

The story line of the show was what do you want to be when you grow up. Here's Grover being a Police Officer.

Zoey!

We will definitely be going to the show next year. We all had so much fun!

Emma Lee's 1st Birthday!

This past Saturday we went to our good friend's Katie and Jon's little girls Emma Lee's 1st birthday party.

Stacy and Jon in their famous picture pose!

Emma Lee smiling big at everyone singing Happy Birthday to her.

It took her a few minutes but then she quickly got the hang of digging into her cake.

"All done."

Tegan had a blast playing and chasing all of the kids outside. He was very protective of his cupcake and for some reason thought he had to be all alone to eat it!

Our Busy Boy

Tegan has now been at his new daycare for over a week. The transition has gone exceptionally well. Surprisingly he only got sad one day on the third day when we dropped him off and has done great ever since! He is becoming busier ever day and extremely independent! (Which is tons of fun!) One cold and one shiner later he is doing wonderful! After his first few days he caught a cold...which we expected to happen.

Today when we picked him up he had a lovely black eye! I guess he was playing outside and got in too big of a hurry to go down the slide and ran into it. His teacher said he did not even cry...what a trooper.

We are so happy with his new daycare and Tegan loves it too!

First Day of Big Boy School

So I have to admit I have been a little behind on posting pictures for the past two weeks. We have been incredibly busy but have still bee taking lots of pictures! So sorry for the many posts today. We also have made a very big decision over the past two weeks. Tegan has been attending the same home daycare since he was 3 months old. After lots of discussion and looking at new places we decided it was time for him to transition to a learning center.

He is now a proud student of The Academy of Developmental Learning Center. He had his first day of "Big Boy School" on Monday the 7th. We had taken him a few weeks ago for a 2 hour visit and he did great but we were still a little nervous how he would do for his first real day. We have been making a big deal about his new "Big Boy School." He went this weekend and picked out his own Spiderman lunch box and was super excited! When we dropped him off he just gave us both a hug and a kiss and was off to play.
Even though this transition has gone well so far I have to admit I was a little sad he did not want his mommy a little more!

Nuggets Game

On Saturday evening Tegan spent the night at my parents house!Stacy and I had originally planned to just hang out and have a quite evening. One of his friends from work called and offered us Club Level tickets to the Nuggets game. So we decided to take advantage of the offer and go to the game. We had a blast!

The half time show was awesome! As you can tell by the picture below the Marines put on the half time show and it was very entertaining.
