The World of Pretend

I have noticed that Tegan has suddenly entered the world of pretend. He is so funny. We have a empty wine holder that has a handle on it and Tegan loves to drag it around. Last night I came into the family room and he had a drum holder around his neck, his blanket and his wine box and he looked at me waved and told me BYE-BYE.He walked around in circles through the kitchen and family room...

waving and telling me BYE BYE. He did this for almost 30 minutes. NON-STOP.

It was pretty amusing and kept him busy while I cooked dinner!
He also likes to sit and pretend he is eating things out of a empty bowl or pretend he is cooking. I told Stacy that I think it is time for him to get a pretend kitchen....I am sure you know how that went over!

I think I like the world of pretend!!!!

Swimming at the Apex Center

This morning we decided to take Tegan to the Apex Center to go play in the water. It is an indoor swimming area for kids that has lots of fun things to play in. Yes, I know it was 100 degrees today and we were inside!!! But I have not been able to find an outside pool in our neighborhood yet....So the inside one had to do for now. And plus Tegan loved playing on all of the water playgrounds.

He finally met someone who liked to hug a little more than he was comfortable with!

A Shower for Baby Logan

One of our good friends Kendra and Nick are expecting a little boy,

Logan Nicholas on August 14th, 2007.

On Saturday I went to Kendra's shower. She got lots of fun goodies for Logan!

Jen and Dave come to dinner

Our good friends Dave and Jen came over for a BBQ on Saturday night.Jen and Dave are getting married on August 11th, 2007! So Jen and I talked a lot about wedding plans!!! We also played Men are From Mars and Women are from Venus!!!
Tegan had lots of fun showing Jen and Dave his golfing skills before his bedtime.

We were busy this morning going to church, breakfast and then lunch!

Tegan is slowly getting used to his swimming pool...as long as we are in it with him!

Every time it is time to come in side it is a big struggle for Mr. T.

He loves being outside and would probably stay out all day if we would let him!We are beginning to experience many tantrums and melt downs in our house right now!!!

Playtime at the mall.

On Friday Tegan and I went shopping at the Flatirons Mall. We decided to stop and play in the play area for a bit. Tegan had lots of fun.

On Tuesday Tegan and I decided to drive to Colorado Springs for the day.

The kids had tons of fun playing together!Time to make some lunch. There were only a FEW problems with sharing!!!

Road Trip to Nebraska

About a week or so ago my engine went out in my car!!! We were really hoping it would make it until I was done with school...but no such luck. Stacy's grandfather was very nice and offered to let me borrow one of his cars to get me through the next couple of months. So we took a rode trip on Sunday to meet Stacy's Grandfather, Aunt Beverly and Uncle Melvin to pick up the car.
We had a picnic lunch and Tegan found a new little friend.He was so brave!!! He just picked the little frog up right away....and then threw him. But the frog was fine!
Tegan though it was sooo funny when the frog would jump.

He is SUCH a boy!


He tried to lay his head on the frog several times to give him a hug!

A Fun Night Out

On Saturday night Stacy and I went downtown for dinner with some of my good friends from High School. Everyone is so busy now that is hard to get together.

But it was so good to see everyone and catch up!!!
We had so much fun! Can't wait to see everyone again!!!

Kendal and Kayden's Visit

On Friday Shannon, Kendal and Kayden came over to play.
Tegan thought it was hilarious when Kendal would throw sand in the air!!!
Kayden is getting so big.

The kids were so dirty that we decided they were in desperate need of a bath!

Fun Pictures from the Weekend

Everyday I am amazed at how BIG Tegan is getting. He has now figured out how to lock and open many of the doors in the house! Check out his new crocks!
On Saturday Stacy was spraying off the back patio. Tegan all of the sudden started to run through the water.


It has taken him a few weeks but he is getting braver every time we turn the water on.

After he was completely soaked...I decided to just take his clothes off. I guess I should have done it sooner. But oh well!
