Tegan's Thanksgiving Feast

Today I went to Tegan's school for his Thanksgiving Feast. 

Before lunch I got to play outside with all of the kids.

All of the kids were really excited that I had my camera and wanted to pose for a picture.

This last weekend Richie came over to see Tegan's new bed. 

Tegan was very persistent that Richie get on the top bunk with him.

After a few minutes Richie decided he was not sure about it.

Big Boy Room

Over the past several months we have been doing a ton of work to our house. We decided to have about 50% of the house repainted and wall paper removed. During the project we decided to change Tegan's room to what used to be the spare bedroom. He has still been in a crib up until now and because we wanted to save money to get a bed that we knew he would use for along time. His bunk bed came in today and we suprised him by having it set up! It was so cute when he went into the room. He said, "WOW my new bed."

His room is not all the way done yet but he was super excited.

We still have to find a chair for the desk.

When it came to bedtime Tegan was not so sure about sleeping in his big boy bed. He said, "No I will sleep in my baby bed." I read him some stories and he ended up going to sleep.

I snuck in and took a picture of him an hour later and he was still sleeping! I even got a little teary eyed...he's not a baby anymore.

The other morning I was taking a shower and when I came down stairs this is how I found Tegan! He was just sitting on the fire place waiting to watch cartoons.

On November 9th Jen had her baby shower. Jen and Dave are having a little girl in January who will be named Ellie Lyn Ryan.

Diaper Cake

Our good friend's Dave and Jen are having a baby girl named Ellie Lyn in January. I helped throw the shower and decided to take on the task of making a diaper cake. Stacy helped me with the entire cake! This was our first attempt at one and it actually turned out really good...if I say so myself!

Trick or Treating

I was very impressed how good Tegan did Trick or Treating this year. He had been practicing what to say for two weeks and had it down perfect! He would say in a very loud voice, "Trick or Treat and thank you." Then turn to me and say,Let's go get more candy Momma."

I thought we were just going to go to the few houses in our culd-de-sac. He had another idea....we ended up going to the next block also. Finally I had to tell him Halloween was over!

Halloween Stops and Visits

After Tegan's Halloween Party we had a busy afternoon of going to see all of Tegan's grandparents. It was tons of fun putting on his costume each time we got out of the car!

Our first stop was at Jo's office. We could not believe how much candy Tegan got there!!!!
