Happy Tegan!

Stacy and I both love when Tegan wakes up in the morning. He is always so happy. He lays with us and coos and laughs for the first hour he gets up.
He thinks his Mommy is the funniest.
Here is Tegan in his big boy clothes. It is hard to believe he will be 3 months soon. Time really goes fast!

When I went to check on Tegan today this is how I found him!!!

unfortunately Stacy has developed a bald spot from only being able to lay on his back while he can sleep and being in the hospital! We thought we would take a comparison picture to see who was losing their hair faster!

Picnic at the Park

It was such a beautiful day today we decided to have a picnic at the park. It has been hard for Stacy to stay inside when it has been so nice outside.
This was Tegan's first trip to the park.

Tegan was watching all of the other kids play on the playground. It will be so much fun when he is big enough to play.

Message From Stacy

Well hello everyone, its me Stacy and I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks. Upon my return to reality, I discovered that there were many people spending there own precious time praying for my recovery. There were so many people assisting my family by babysitting to bringing food over, to supporting Sumer whether it be in person, phone, or by e-mail. I want to thank all the officers who spent there time babysitting me as I was on the road to recovery at the hospital. I would like to thank everyone who sent flowers, cards, and their thoughts during my time of need. I have never felt more supported in my entire life. I want to thank my own family for being at the hospital with me day after day. I believe the only reason I'm home now is because of all the support I received and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Tegan's New Bronco Blanket

Our friend Joanne in Chicago made Tegan a Bronco blanket for next football season!We have already been using it alot!
It seems that Tegan is going to have no choice but to like the Broncos!
Joanne- Thanks so much for the blanket!!! We love it!

2 Month Check-Up

Today Tegan went to go see Dr. Doig for his 2 month check-up. He weighs 10 pounds and is 22 inches now. (Everyone thought he weighed more!!!) He got a perfect bill of health. When Dr. Doig was checking Tegan out he kept farting really loud. It was pretty funny and a little embarrassing!
This is Tegan after he got his shots. As long as I held him he was happy. I did not like the shot experience at all! I was crying along with Tegan!

Tegan's New Hat

Tegan and Daddy have been catching up on their time apart. Daddy can not believe how much Tegan has changed. Stacy's Great Aunt's neighbor made Tegan a new hat. When we got it tonight I had to take pictures of Tegan in it.
Tegan did not really mind wearing his hat at all.
He doesn't seem to mind the camera either.
Is it obvious that we have a lot of time on our hands right now?!?!

I am sure we will have lots of pictures to share of the next couple of weeks.

Tegan is 2 months old!!!!

We are very excited because Stacy is coming home in the morning. With everything that has been going on there has not been much time to update the blog. So I added some new photos tonight. Tegan turned 2 months last Thursday! I can not believe how fast he is growing.

I am convinced that Tegan is going to be a major momma's boy!

He knows just what to do when he wants attention!
Aunt Jessie has been in town to help watch Tegan. They have been having so much fun together during the day. If you left click on the pictures you can make them get larger. In this one you can see that Tegan is going to get his Mommy's widows peak...Poor Guy!

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of their support and prayers during this time. I really believe that is what helped Stacy to come home earlier than anticipated!!

Visiting Daddy Today

Today Stacy got moved to a different room. At first I was really excited but then I found out that Tegan is still not allowed in his new room. I was able to talk the nurse into allowing me to bring Tegan up for awhile. Stacy was very excited to see him. Tegan smiled and stared at him the whole time.

I just wanted to tell everyone how much I appreciate their encouraging words right now. I know so many people are keeping Stacy in their prayers (Even people I have never met). That truly means a lot and I am very thankful to everyone!

Thank You Auntie Jessie

Tegan's Aunt Jessie came home from college on Monday to stay with us and help out with Tegan. She had to go home today for finals before Spring Break. She was so much help and loved helping out with Tegan. She was a life saver and it was nice for me to have her here for a few days.
