Time for a Break

Today I officially got done with my 3rd quarter of graduate school. I was very exhausted when I got home! Apparently so was Tegan!!!
So now I have a 2 week break and then one last quarter!!!
I will graduate August 17th!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Fun times outside

This weekend Stacy, Tegan and I spent lots of time outside playing in the yard. Since he was not into his swimming pool yet... I decided to get him a new Finding Nemo sprinkler.
He liked it much better.
Tegan has now discovered that is able to take his diaper off ALL by himself!
So lately....this is how he prefers to hang out!
I am sure he will love me for these pictures when he gets older.

Lunch Date with Baby Emma and Katie

Last week Tegan and I went to lunch with Katie and Baby Emma.
Both of the kids did very good at lunch! Tegan loved giving baby Emma lots of love.
(Or smothering her!!!)

Emma fast asleep after her milk lunch.

Tegan's 1st haircut!

Although Tegan really does not have much hair we decided it was time to get it shaped up a little. And plus he was beginning to grow a small ponytail in the back. Stacy really wanted Tegan do get his hair cut at Sports Clips....since it is a place for guys! Tegan does not look too sure about it.
"Mom what are they doing to me?"

"Ok....I do not think I like this anymore!"
"But the sucker will make it better!"
All done.
Tegan did such a good job. He only started crying once and I think it was because everyone was standing around staring at him.

Birthday Celebration

On Friday afternoon we went to our friend's Beth and Bruce's house to celebrate Bruce's 1st anniversary of his 29th birthday. There were lots of kids there for Tegan to play with. He had a blast.Mason

Our New Neighborhood Park

The park in our neighborhood has been closed for the past couple of months. It just reopened a few days ago and they have built a brand new park!Tegan just stood around and looked really shocked
and had no idea where to go first. I did not get a very good picture but on the right side of the picture
below they even built a small climbing wall.

"I am such a BIG boy now!"

Tegan was very upset when it was time to leave the park!

Happy Mother's Day

This year for Mother's Day I decided that I wanted to do yard work. So we cleaned the yard and planted LOTS of flowers all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We decided to buy Tegan a swimming pool thinking it would keep him busy, but he was not too interested in it yet. He loved being outside and "helping" us plant flowers. (Check out his little thighs)
On Sunday night we went to dinner with my family, Stacy's mom and my Grandparents. My mom, Tegan and my grandparents

Jewels and Tegan....look at that smile.

We happy everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!!!!!

Tegan's first set of golf clubs

A few weeks ago Stacy found a set of Spiderman golf clubs that he insisted on buying for Tegan. This weekend we decided to get them out an see how he liked them. Tegan would laugh as hard as he could whenever Stacy would hit the ball and then he would run over and get it. He is not to sure how to hit it by himself (considering he is only 16 months) but Stacy ensured me that he will begin lessons by the time he is 2 1/2 or 3!

Looks like a pro already!

Cake tasting is soooo much fun!!!

This weekend we went on two wedding cake tasting appointments. At first Tegan did not really know what to think...it did not take him long to figure out.The second day of cake tasting Tegan did not waste any time! While the owner of the cake store was giving us a presentation Tegan decided to pick up a fork and dig in!Luckily the owner had children and thought it was pretty amusing!

Spots..spots and more spots!!!!

On Sunday Tegan broke out with a rash on his lower stomach. It had not gotten worse or spread on Monday. Today I took him to daycare and got a phone call two hours later and found out that the rash had spread all over his entire body. So I went and picked him up and made a doctors appointment for 3:00.The doctor was able to rule out any allergic reactions and said that it was viral. She was pretty sure that it may be the beginning stages of Chicken Poxs. She said we will just have to wait for the next 3 days to see if the spots blister and turn into actual chicken poxs!
Tegan is being a trooper for the most part,
although you can tell he is not 100% comfortable.
So he is home bound for the next 7 days and has to take lots of Aveno oatmeal baths.
Poor Little Hunny
"Ok....now I am feeling better."
"There is always time for dancing!"

Here is a video of Tegan's lovely spinning dance moves:
