One day we went to a an Island called Isla Mujeres and spent the day at a place called Garrafon Discovery. First we went shopping for a few hours and then headed to Garrafon Discovery where we spent the day zip lining, watching dolphins swim, swimming and even snorkeling, Snorkeling was a big deal for me because the first time I tried I kinda of had a panic attack and have not attempted it again! This time I made it for almost 30 minutes.

The cute dolphins!

The boat we took to get to the Island.

The panoramic pool.

Michelle and Scott also spent the day on the Island with us.

Stacy snorkeling.

On the boat ride back from the Island they asked for volunteers for a competition and of course I volunteered Stacy. The contest was putting a coin in your butt (outside of your shorts of course) and then hoping forward and dropping the coin in a small glass.

Stacy was the first one to go and the ONLY one to complete the mission....he won a bottle of Tequila.

On our last night we went and show the hotels production of Grease and then went out for a while with Michelle and Scott.

The weather was perfect the entire trip we did not get any rain until the day we were leaving.

The day before we left we asked the hotel photographer to take a picture of us on the beach. Before we new it he had taken over 50 picture. Here are a few of them:

Sunday Fun Days

During the few weeks before and after the Democratic National Convention Stacy was working most of the Sundays. Tegan and I started a tradition of going to Starbucks after church. He has really enjoyed it and gets super excited when they call his name for his hot chocolate.

The Sara Evans Concert

On September 14th my mom and I went to the Sara Evans concert for my birthday. It was at the Budweiser Event Center in Louisville. We had a blast and Sara Evans put on a great concert!

Arvada Harvest Day Parade

Last weekend Stacy, Tegan and I met Tegan's little girlfriend from school, Jackie and her parents, Dave and Amy at the Arvada Harvest Day Parade. Tegan and Jackie were supper excited to see each other outside of school.

Jackie and Tegan loved all of the candy at the parade!

True Love!

Tegan was a dancing machine at the parade.

Time to cool off.

We had lots of fun at the parade and I managed to get a really short video of Tegan and Jackie.

Happy Birthday Jewels

Jewel's 11th Birthday was on September 5th and we went to Casa Bonita for Dinner!

Memaw (as Tegan refers to his grandma's), Tegan and Papa Jeff

One of those ladies with the light up toys kept coming by our table and of course Memaw gave into buying him one!

Tegan was super happy when he won 50 tickets!

Another Birthday Celebration

On Labor Day our neighbors Matt, Juliette and Baby Richie came over to BBQ and celebrate my birthday. Juliette made me a yummy German Chocolate Cake!

Tegan's Obstacle Course

One of Tegan's new things to do is take all of the pillows off of the couch and make obstacle course! We really have no idea why but it keeps him really busy!

Then he will pretend to sleep and snore for while...it is pretty amusing to watch.

Here's a short video.
