Breakfast with Shamu

Of course we had to go to Sea World during our trip to San Diego.

The highlight of our time at Sea World was Breakfast with Shamu. 

We had the best time getting to meet all of the whales up close.

Tegan was super excited.

It was very neat to get the opportunity to see all of the whales that close.

We had spent the last couple of months talking about Shamu so Tegan was very excited.

Stacy and Tegan were excited to get wet so we sat in the "soak" zone.

Unfortunately we did not get wet and Tegan was really sad. 

So Stacy and he moved down to the first row but it was too late to get wet.

Since Tegan was so sad he did not get soaked at the Shamu show....

we sat in the 2nd row at the Dolphin show. 

We were SOAKED by the end of the show.

Time at the Beach

Tegan was so excited to go the beach. He was running back 

and forth in the water and did a face plant into the sand. 

This did not make him very happy.

Belmont Park

There was an amusement park called Belmont Park in walking distance from our hotel.

Tegan had fun riding all of the rides.

Tegan was not a fan of the Tilt-A-Whirl.

Then we went to watch the surfers at a place called the Wavehouse

San Diego Zoo

One day we decided to go to the San Diego Zoo!

Man is it HUGE!

Tegan and Stacy wanted to sit in the splash zone....I needed to sit in the shade due to being soooo sun burnt!
