Happy Belated Independence Day

This 4th of July we continued our tradition of going to my parents house for a BBQ and fireworks. My parents were there along with some good family friends June and John Adams and then our friends Kendra and Nick. Jewels was very egger to start when we got there. So Jewels, Tegan and Stacy began playing around with some small fireworks right away.

Tegan did great keeping his distance and got very excited
whenever he heard a pop.

Kendra, Nick and Logan joined us for the festivities this year.

He is definitely a Grandma's Boy.

Grandma asked T if he was scared and his response was...yes and then he did his pretend scared look. He actually LOVED the fireworks and clapped the entire time.

The Randolph Family.

Logan stayed up the entire time and did so good on his first 4th of July!

Don't ask how...but these pictures were from the firework Stacy and Nick put on for all of us in the drive way!

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Independence Day!

Our First Camping Trip...Sorry for all the pictures!

This past weekend we went camping in Grand Lake at a cam ground called Winding River Ranch. Originally we were scheduled to go the weekend of Tegan's seizure but for obvious reasons our trip got rescheduled. Which I think was probably for the best because the weather had a chance to warm up. I went camping when I was in Jr. High at this same camp site so I was very excited to go again. The camp ground was perfect for kids. They have a petting zoo with tons of animals, playgrounds and tons of other kid friendly activities. Right when we got to our site Tegan and Stacy worked on getting our tent put up.

The finished product.

Mr. Sneaky snuck into the car to eat marshmallows.

Checking out the sights.

Lately Tegan has been fascinated by Old McDonald's Farm so when he saw the petting zoo all we heard was EIEIO...EIEIO. We were lucky enough to get to see lots of brand new baby animals.

The 6 week old baby calves.

Tessa was no longer a white dog when we were done camping.

On Saturday night we got Yummy ice cream at the camp ground ice cream social. Tegan was not very happy when Stacy stole a bit of his ice cream.

Persistently trying to move this log to help build the fire.

We thought we would take a chance and schedule Tegan a ride on a horse. We were not sure how he would do. His horses name was Simaron. As soon as Tegan got on Simaron he was as happy as can be. He looked like such a big boy.

Tegan held on the entire time except when he would raise one hand and say YEE HAA!

After unsuccessfully attempting to take a nap for over an hour we decided to head down and spend the day at Grand Lake. As soon as Stacy saw the boat Marina his eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. Next thing I knew we were on a Pontoon boat for the after noon. It was a ton of fun.

After our day on the lake we headed back to our camp site for dinner. Then it was time for YUMMY Smores!.

POOR MR. T!
This was about 15 minutes after we had showered him.....he did a nice face plant off of the picnic table into to the dirt

On Monday, Tegan was trying really hard to help us pack up camp. After 1 hour of his hard work we decided he needed to take a break and watch Elmo. Once he was busy watching Elmo packing up with a whole lot quicker.

New Mellmo Undies

Tegan has not been very interested in the whole Potty training thing. He has gone once at home and once at school but that is it. I decided to buy him some BIG boy undies to see if he was interested in them. Well he loved his new "Mellmo" undies but not the potty thing.

He ran around the house in them for awhile and all of the sudden we hear, "Oh NO DADDA, OH NO DADDA". When went down stairs we found him standing on top of Stacy's pool table in a puddle of pee pee! Stacy was not very happy to say the least. Later Stacy said I know this is going to happen but I never expected it to happen on my pool table!
