Tegan eating his birthday cake!!!!!

Tegan did not know what to think of all the people sitting a staring at him. He was hypnotized by the candle and everyone singing Happy Birthday to him.

He was not to sure what he was supposed to do with this cake sitting in-front of him.
Finally after daddy cut a piece for him he decided to eat some.

He has such good manners!!!

My 1st Experience with Making a Birthday Cake

So I was completely nervous this past month about making Tegan's 1st Birthday cake. I really wanted to make him a monkey birthday cake but could not find a monkey cake pan. So I decided to attempt it without a monkey pan.

It took 3 different cake pans....But I was really excited with how the cake turned out!!!!!I also made a small cake just for Mr. Tegan!!!!!
Jessie came over to help me with the cake and she made monkey cupcakes.
The cupcakes turned out soooo cute!!!!

....and he's off !!!!!

Last night Tegan was playing with his toys like he does every night after dinner. All of the sudden Stacy and I realized he was walking with the help of his toy. Here is a video of him walking back and forth. I guess it will not be long until he is walking all over the place.

Happy New Years!

One New Years Eve my family and our friends Dave and Jenn came over to bring in the New Year. We had lots of fun hanging out and playing spoons.

X-Mas Again????

Oscar came over on Saturday night to celebrate X-mas with Tegan!Goofy Boys
Tegan seemed to enjoy opening his present a little more than he did on X-mas. Maybe because there was less stimulation!

New Elliptical

Santa brought me a new Elliptical for X-Mas. He forgot to set it up so Stacy put it together for me lastnight!

I am so excited to have it all put together. Stacy even let me put it in his basement!!! I plan on using it a lot over the next 9 months. Especially now that I found my wedding dress!

The Day After X-mas

The day after X-mas Tegan Aunt Ashlee and cousin Matthew came over to the house. Matthew had so much fun playing with Tegan!

This year for Christmas my family drew names. (Everyone except Tegan and Jewels). We each drew two names. The first person you made something for and the second person you bought something for. Stacy decided to make everyone necklaces with cherrios on them...as a joke. everyone thought he was pretty funny.Stacy and I made photo boards for my sister and my mom.
Jewels also decided to make everyone homemade gifts.

Jeff is very good at wood working. So everyone crossed their fingers that they would choose them. I was the lucky one. The night that we drew names I told everyone that I wanted a coat rack and that's what I got!!!

I got my mom a new robe that she really wanted from a day spa.
My mom drew Stacy's name and she got him a new dewalt jig saw. Stacy bought Jessie new speakers for Ipod.

I was so excited...Jeff got me a gift card so that I can buy new clothes for when I start my internship.

He loves banging on anything...now he has drums to bang on.

X-mas After Noon at Grandma Marlene's

In the afternoon we went to Stacy's mom's house for brunch. Santa also came to visit Tegan there.
Do not worry...Stacy is not drinking a beer. He got a pair of coors light pj pants that came in a can.
It did not take long for Tegan to become really sleepy from his long morning.
