A very hot day!

The last couple of days have been pretty warm.

Tegan really enjoys spending time outside. I can not wait until Stacy is getting around alot better and we can do more things outside!!!

First Day at Daycare

Today was my first day back at work and Tegan's first day at daycare. Everything went really well and it actually felt good to go to work. Luckily I get to transition back and will only be working part-time for the remainder of April. Stacy missed us a lot!
Tegan had along first day and was a very sleepy baby!

Picnic at Estes Park

Today we decided to take a drive up to Estes Park for a picnic at the Estes Park Lake. It was such a beautiful day out.Tessa even got to come along!
Tegan loved being outside. Doesn't he look so cute in his new overalls? Today he turned 3 months old! Yeah Tegan!!!!
It ended up being really windy at the lake.
We had to finish our picnic in the car.
We can not wait for summer time.

Growing Fast

Sometimes it is sooo hard to lay him down when he falls asleep. I love kissing his cheeks.
We are still trying to break Tegan from sucking his thumb. (Or should I say thumbs) As you can see here we are not doing so well.
The other day Tegan fell asleep in his chair so I jumped in the shower. When I got out he was just watching tv and sucking his thumb! It seems he enjoys watching TLC as much as mommy and daddy do.
His belly is starting to get a little chubby!
And we wonder why!?!?
We have been trying to encourage Tegan to put other things in his mouth besides his thumb. But it is not working so well.

Tegan's 12 weeks

Today Tegan is 12 weeks!!! It is so amazing how fast he is growing and changing. It seems like everyday he is developing more of his own little personality.

Tegan LOVES his playmate. He gets really tired sometimes when he plays too hard on his panda mat.
We just love his chubby checks and tummy.
A couple from our child birth class brought us over dinner tonight. We missed the reunion since Stacy was in the hospital so were able to meet their son Timothy.
Timothy was born two weeks after Tegan on January 22, 2006.
We layed them in Tegan's crib to take a picture but they would not take their eyes off of the mobile to look at the camera.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Yesterday was Stacy's 26th Birthday!
Grandma Marlene came over to babsit Tegan so that Stacy and I could go to dinner and a movie! After we went to dinner we were really tired and were not sure if we were going to make it through the movie but we did.
Tegan dot a new out fit yesterday from Grandma Marlene.

Stacy and I both love when Tegan wakes up in the morning. He is always so happy. He lays with us and coos and laughs for the first hour he gets up.
He thinks his Mommy is the funniest.
Here is Tegan in his big boy clothes. It is hard to believe he will be 3 months soon. Time really goes fast!

unfortunately Stacy has developed a bald spot from only being able to lay on his back while he can sleep and being in the hospital! We thought we would take a comparison picture to see who was losing their hair faster!

Picnic at the Park

It was such a beautiful day today we decided to have a picnic at the park. It has been hard for Stacy to stay inside when it has been so nice outside.
This was Tegan's first trip to the park.

Tegan was watching all of the other kids play on the playground. It will be so much fun when he is big enough to play.

Message From Stacy

Well hello everyone, its me Stacy and I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks. Upon my return to reality, I discovered that there were many people spending there own precious time praying for my recovery. There were so many people assisting my family by babysitting to bringing food over, to supporting Sumer whether it be in person, phone, or by e-mail. I want to thank all the officers who spent there time babysitting me as I was on the road to recovery at the hospital. I would like to thank everyone who sent flowers, cards, and their thoughts during my time of need. I have never felt more supported in my entire life. I want to thank my own family for being at the hospital with me day after day. I believe the only reason I'm home now is because of all the support I received and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
