Tegan's New Hat

Tegan and Daddy have been catching up on their time apart. Daddy can not believe how much Tegan has changed. Stacy's Great Aunt's neighbor made Tegan a new hat. When we got it tonight I had to take pictures of Tegan in it.
Tegan did not really mind wearing his hat at all.
He doesn't seem to mind the camera either.
Is it obvious that we have a lot of time on our hands right now?!?!

I am sure we will have lots of pictures to share of the next couple of weeks.

Tegan is 2 months old!!!!

We are very excited because Stacy is coming home in the morning. With everything that has been going on there has not been much time to update the blog. So I added some new photos tonight. Tegan turned 2 months last Thursday! I can not believe how fast he is growing.

I am convinced that Tegan is going to be a major momma's boy!

He knows just what to do when he wants attention!
Aunt Jessie has been in town to help watch Tegan. They have been having so much fun together during the day. If you left click on the pictures you can make them get larger. In this one you can see that Tegan is going to get his Mommy's widows peak...Poor Guy!

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of their support and prayers during this time. I really believe that is what helped Stacy to come home earlier than anticipated!!

Visiting Daddy Today

Today Stacy got moved to a different room. At first I was really excited but then I found out that Tegan is still not allowed in his new room. I was able to talk the nurse into allowing me to bring Tegan up for awhile. Stacy was very excited to see him. Tegan smiled and stared at him the whole time.

Tegan's Aunt Jessie came home from college on Monday to stay with us and help out with Tegan. She had to go home today for finals before Spring Break. She was so much help and loved helping out with Tegan. She was a life saver and it was nice for me to have her here for a few days.

Just Waiting for Daddy!

We just wanted to tell everyone that we really appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers right now. Everyone has been truly amazing. Tegan has been such a good boy and misses his daddy very much. He can not wait to see him soon! Thank you for everything.

Tegan and I were very excited to see Stacy when he got home today. We met him at the door!

Very Sleepy Baby

Last night we gave Tegan a bath before bed and he fell asleep while in the tub. I guess the Children's Museum was very exhausting!!
He stayed asleep majority of the time.

Trip to the Children's Museum

Today Tegan, Jewels and I went to the Children's Museum. It was tons of fun...but extremely busy. I forgot that everyone was out of school for the holiday. I also forgot to bring the snuggly to carry him around, I am sure I will get better at planning outings. Tegan really enjoyed laying in the "baby pond" on a lilly pad. I attempted to attach a video so click on the attached website and then then the video should start but it may take a few minutes to load. (You'll see a big blue thing in the middle and then just wait) Hopefully this should work but I am not sure if I know what I am doing yet!

There was another Lilly Pad next to Tegan and he really enjoyed looking at the other babies around him.

Scrapbook Party

Today Tegan and I went to Shannon's house for a stamp and scrapbook party. (It was my first) I was very excited to order some supplies to start Tegan's scrapbook. Now they just need to get here so I can get started.Kendal decided that she really likes Tegan now. She kept straddling him and giving him kisses.
Tegan enjoyed getting lots of kisses from Kendal.

Mommy's First Night Out

Last night I had my first night out of the house. I got together with three friends from high school for dinner. We had a lot of fun but it was still hard to be gone from Stacy and Tegan!! I missed them even though I was only gone for three hours.
Grandma Marlene came over while I was gone to spend some time with Tegan...oh and Stacy.

They had lots of fun and I even got pictures sent to me on my phone while I was gone.

My Sick Guys

It has been a very long day and a half... atleast for me. Tegan and Stacy are both sick! Stacy got home from dinner lastnight and came down with the flu really bad and Tegan has a little cold. It was a very long night of taking care of both of my guys!!!Grandma Moe watched Tegan for a couple hours today because I had an appointment to get my hair cut and a pedicure. It was the perfect thing after getting no sleep all night. Stacy stayed home resting and trying to feel better. Of course Grandma Moe had her best friend Renee come over so that she could show Tegan off.

Tegan went to the doctor today and we found that he now weighs 8.14. Atleast we know he does not have any trouble eating! The doctor said he just has a little cold and needs rest and to have his nose cleaned out every couple hours. I am getting lots of experience with the booger sucker; which Tegan and I both now officially hate it!!!!

It is 8:30 and both of my guys are sleep. Hopefully they both feel better tomorrow.

Happy Valentines Day

Today we went to Jewel's Valentine's Day Party at school. She was really excited to have Tegan and Stacy there. She is getting good at helping take care of Tegan...pretty soon she'll be ready for diapers!!! (Hopefully)

Grandma Moe came over lastnight to help put Tegan to bed!!!Today was Daddy's first day back to work and we did not know what to do all by ourself ...so Tegan and I went over and hung out with Shannon and Kendal. Kendal was alot more interested in Tegan this time, she is going to be a great big sister!!

Today our good friend Lisa came over to visit Tegan and treat us to lunch.

"It was good to see you Lisa and we hope to see you again soon!"Daddy was playing with Tegan after bath time and Tessa was feeling neglected, so he had to play with her too!

Doesn't he look peaceful. I can't wait to sleep like that again.

New Toy!!!

Today Tegan got a new mobile gym! It is lots of fun and plays music and even talks to him. He really seems to like it so far.

Tessa also enjoyed watching and listening with Tegan!

I wish he would stay this innocent forever!

Daddy was not that fond of the blue booties, but I thought they were adorable. And he needs to wear them before he grows out of them.

Tonight my good friend from high school, Audrey came over to visit with her two kids, Jaden (4yrs. old) and Kyla (3yrs. old). They enjoyed playing with Tegan alot! Jaden even got to help feed him!

First Stroller Ride

Today Tegan got to take his first ride in Jewel's baby doll stroller. He did not seem to enjoy it all that much. Jewel's is sure that he will grow to love it....eventually. Tessa (the dog) was really relieved to see someone else in the stroller besides her for once!!!!

4 Weeks Old

Today Tegan is 4 weeks old!!! Time is already going way to fast.

His checks and tummy are beginning to fill out! I just wish he wasn't growing so fast!

This morning our friends Shannon and Kendal came over to play for a little bit. Kendal really liked to ride Tegan's horse; since he is still a little small for it.

Kendal was a little more interested in Tegan this time.

Today we had many things on our agenda to do!!

Tegan slept on with Daddy while I tried to get something ready for the day. I thought they both looked soooo cute that I could not resist taking a picture of them.

This afternoon we went to our friend Amanda's baby shower. She and her husband now live in Illinois and she flew in yesterday for the shower. Stacy and I both used to work with Amanda at Cleo. She is due in April and is also having a little boy.

This evening we went to dinner with my family and our good family friends Jodie (my godmother) , Rodney and Krista. This was the first time they got to see Tegan and they were very excited to get to meet him!!

Tegan really enjoys hanging out on his changing table and just looking around.

Tonight Uncle "O" came over for dinner and to see Tegan. He changed his first diaper and did a great job!

Tegan had his first bottle with milk in it this morning. Daddy was so excited to

finally get to feed him.

This was the beautiful sunrise I saw this morning while getting up with Tegan!
